About Us

Dolphin Inflatables offer a complete range of services.

Our repairs and retubes are carried out by the father and son team of Andrew and Aaron Monsinger. Andrew has been repairing and building inflatable boats for more than 35 years, and Aaron has been working alongside him for 10 years. We are the only New Zealand firm capable of building a Thundercat from scratch. This experience base ensures that your boat is in safe hands and the outcome will be a top quality job. New boat sales are handled by Mike McGlone who has 20 years in the marine scene, and Andrew.

Dolphin Inflatables offer a complete range of services.

Repairs

We can repair all makes of inflatable boats, whether Hypalon or PVC, welded or glued seams. We can repair or replace upholstery.

Retubes

We can retube any inflatable, whether Hypalon or PVC. Our PVC tubes are welded, not glued. For aluminium RIBs we can also sandblast the hull and have it powder coated, so bringing your boat back to “as new” condition.

Our Products

  • Dolphin Inflatables import a range of aluminium hulled inflatables, from 2.4 meters to 3.4 meters.
  • We have limited residual stock of Air Floor roll-up inflatables, from 2.4 meters to 3.0 meters.
  • Our boats are manufactured to the specification defined by our experienced team. The outcome is a good seakeeping tender with 420mm diameter tubes which are made from German Hytex 0.9mm PVC. All seams are welded rather than glued which gives them a longer trouble free lifetime.
  • Our boats tend to be wider in the bow than many on the market and all of our tenders have the same width transom, so they have good internal volume. This is particularly noticeable in our smaller boats.
  • The 2.4 and 2.6 are basic V bottom tenders with one seat.
  • The 2.8 is available as V bottom or with an integrated flat floor. This also has one seat.
  • The 3.1 has the integrated flat floor but is fitted with two seats so the driver has a dry seat rather than having to sit on the side tube.
  • The 3.4 has the integrated flat floor, an anchor locker and one seat.
